So today is not a fluffy post: it's just something which came to mind. For context, I am rearranging my bedroom/home office/sewing room. Trust me, it's just TIME to try a new perspective in how it is all laid out. PART of doing this includes reassessing everything which is in this room: what to keep, what to store elsewhere for now, and what to part with. I have also given myself the daunting task of going thru my [still rather extensive] fabric stash, and this is where the whole Could vs. Want idea comes into play. I COULD keep this herringbone flannel fabric to use to make wintery PJ - vs. - I WANT to keep this herringbone flannel fabric... The same goes for EACH piece of fabric. I am not allowing myself to think about how much money it [specific fabric section] cost. And I am CERTAINLY not berating myself for having - at some time in the past - bought it; it spoke to me in the moment, and I at least felt THEN that I would use it. People change, and their interests and likes...
Living here, I am Free... because I truly wish to be.
